About Us
The TA College was created to help overcome the difficulties some students have attending college trying to obtain a qualification, whilst juggling with work or family commitments.
The training is delivered via e-learning programmes giving you the opportunity to study whenever it is most convenient to you, be it in your lunchtime, in the school or at home, or wherever you have access to the internet and without the need to attend a local college on a day release or evening classes. You can even choose your own start date, without the need to wait for terms to begin.
Students based outside of the UK can also gain UK recognised qualifications to become a Teaching Assistant anywhere in the world.
As part of our continuing development to meet the individual needs of Teaching Assistants we offer CACHE Certificates and NVQ courses in ‘Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools’ and NVQs in ‘Children’s Care Learning & Development’ (CCLD).
The Teaching Assistant College as an established training provider offering recognised e-learning qualifications, accredited by City & Guilds and CACHE, recognise that well trained learning support assistants can help to significantly improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the classroom, and raise standards in teaching and learning in schools, so we also offer Career Professional Development (CPD) online courses for schools, and face-to-face In Service Training (Inset) courses for support staff in classrooms, throughout UK and British Schools abroad. All of these courses are highly interactive to ensure that the learning and development is maximised. We are confident that you will enjoy studying or training with us and look forward to receiving your application form.
