We also offer short online courses and INSET training to schools in the UK and abroad.

Message from the Principal

As a previous tutor in a local college I realised the difficulties some students have trying to obtain a qualification, whilst juggling work, taking care of their children and attending college.

I created The TA College to help overcome these difficulties by bringing the learning to you. The training is delivered via e-learning which gives you the opportunity to study whenever it is most convenient to you, be it in your lunchtime in the school or at home, or whenever you have access to the Internet.

When designing the online programmes we were particularly careful to ensure that your studies were as varied and interesting as possible to help retain your motivation. This was achieved by using a variety of teaching methods, incorporating online lectures, video clips of other Teaching Assistants working with pupils, tasks to carry out in school, a bulletin board to keep you updated with current issues and a forum enabling you to converse with other students throughout the world.

I am confident that you will enjoy our study sessions as much as we have enjoyed creating them. I look forward to receiving your application form.
