You can now gain UK recognised qualifications to become a teaching assistant from anywhere in the world. Whilst studying for the courses it is a requirement that you spend time in a British/International school, placements are a highly valuable part of the course. It is in school that theory learned online can be put into practice and you can see every day school life happening first hand. If you choose to complete an NVQ an assessor will visit you during your course and observe you working with pupils and carrying out your role within the school.
