As a previous tutor in a local college I realised the difficulties some students had trying to obtain a qualification, whilst juggling with work, taking care of their children and trying to attend college, so I created The TA College to help overcome these difficulties by bringing the learning to you.
The training is delivered through e-learning via easy to follow study sessions and a personal e-portfolio to store your work into.
You can study whenever it is most convenient to you, be it in your lunchtime, in the school, at home, or wherever you have access to the internet.
There is no need for you to attend evening or day release classes at your local college, although you will be required, in most cases, to have a placement for the duration of your course. This can be obtained by contacting schools in your local region requesting a placement on a paid or voluntary basis.
I know how difficult it is to choose a course when you see so many advertised, as we only offer courses for teaching assistants you can be certain we ensure all courses are accredited. We use the awarding body CACHE to ensure your hard work is rewarded and your qualification is recognised by schools both nationally and internationally.
